Are you looking for toasted marshmallows? Syrup is a little sticky, but toasty marshmallow syrup isn't nearly as sticky as fighting toasted marshmallows on their own 🎉
I can't believe how easy this was, and how well it worked! I love toasted marshmallows, it's a perfect topping for ice cream and mixing with 3-ingredient mocha sauce will take your coffee to the next level with basically no effort.

There are a couple different ways to toast your marshmallows: I broiled mine on a foil-covered baking sheet. It takes a few minutes if your oven isn't already warm and watch them closely, once they start toasting they will brown quickly. You could also torch them, or go old school style and toast them over an open fire. If you're entertaining, I recommend adding some Cowboy Coffee to liven the experience. They make the cutest little Solo Stove for tabletop roasting too!
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
10 marshmallows toasted - see above for different methods to toast
Step 1: Make Simple Syrup
Mix water and sugar together, boil for a few minutes until sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 2: Add Toasted Marshmallows
Stir in the marshmallows to the simple syrup, they will expand and then reduce down.
Step 3: Strain and Bottle
Depending on how toasted the marshmallows are, strain out any charring and funnel into an airtight bottle.
If you want a tabletop toasting experience, try this super cute Mesa Solo Stove that comes in different colors:
I'm also still enjoying these fluted mason jars:
And that's it!
So easy, so toasty, so good. I'm going to sample these out as part of my work group gifts - more on that later 😁 Follow me on Instagram and Facebook for more drink and syrup inspiration - thanks for reading! ❤️
